Use Articles To Build Your Customer
base
(It's called "your List")

|
Getting customers to your
site should always be ranked as a
high priority.
Also as important
is the quality of your content,
product or the services you
provide.
If you have quality articles on your site
that have interesting subjects for people
to read and they're keyword rich, you'll get
visitors.
|
If you're knowledgeable about a certain subject
and can write quality articles then create a
separate website for your niche and only add
articles relating to that niche. You will need to add
fresh content of course from time to time otherwise the
search engines might consider your site 'stale'.
If you don't have time or feel unable to write lots of articles
you should consider subscribing to an article supply site and
get hundreds each month on different niches. That way you could
have many sites on varying subjects and increase your chances
of earning from each site by monetizing them with Google
adsense or other similar systems such as Amazon and Kontera.
Even if your site sells products or services why not earn a
little more by monetizing them this way. See our article on
'How to build an article website'. You'll find it in the
navigation bar.
You'll want to keep those visitors so you will need to
tempt them to stay with you. One of the ways you can combine
marketing and customer service is through what is known as
'opt-in list.' An opt in is where a visitor to your site
supplies a name and email address on an 'opt in form' on
your page. (Such as the one below)
Opt-in marketing strategy is a strategy that is low cost and
isn't time consuming. Here you get the consent of your website
visitors to subscribe to your newsletters and/or other
promotional materials such as catalogues or simply
information. If you have products or services then you
will be creating a customer base to 'sell' to at that
moment or at some future date.
Opt-in marketing uses your list of subscribers to send a
promotional e-mail to. These e-mails can be sent at set periods
by an autoresponder (see below) while you sleep and very
often it is the third, fourth or even fifth message before they
buy so don't despair. Some subscribers may even forward your
newsletters to other people when they find a certain
article interesting.
You should provide links in the 'teasers' in your newsletter
so when the reader wants more information they may click
on the link and go to your site. If the articles or
offers that you have on your site appeal to them they may
then decide to buy or at least click on a Google advert and
earn you some money or click on your Amazon or
Kontera link and buy something. New readers may like to
sign up to your opt-in list. This is a way to build your
list.
Make sure to keep your subscribers happy and interested in your
newsletters and promotional materials. Keep on posting and
writing good articles for your site and newsletter.
You can't do any of this without an
'Autoresponder' which has the facility to create your opt
in form and it also captures the email address of your
customer. When you wish to communicate to them you can
pre-write a series of emails or newsletters and send them
to all your subscribers with on click.
We've tried them all and eventually settled for
who we think is the best. We would be happy to
introduce you so complete the form below and we'll send
you the information you need to get the
best..
