One of the best and most lucrative ways of getting financial independence these days is to get into having a business on the Internet. No flaky Internet business but a solid business

Remember this however.......gone are the days when you put up a website and waited for the money to roll in. Of course it's possible but unlikely unless you work at it. I did use the word 'Business' and like any succesful business there needs to be a structured plan and it needs to be worked at.

I did it with this website and many other websites. I knew absolutely nothing and after work every night and every weekend I devoured every single bit of information about internet marketing and website creation, HTML, FTP, reciprocal linking, one way linking, search engine optimization and so on.

At the end of the day it took me nine months to build my first site. OK it wasn't a simple article site but an Online Store selling health supplements but nevertheless I could do it in a few hours now. I turned out a site selling audio books one Sunday morning.

These days you really need to decide on a niche or subject that you know and enjoy. Maybe you think you are the only one who is interested in that subject?. Not so. There are millions of people out there and invariably many of them will share your interest. Another way is to find a market first then find a product to satisfy that market. If you're a complete newbie, that should come later for you.

An easy way is to get into Article websites. This is where you write on subjects you have a knowledge about and add them to your site. The biggest problem with whatever route you choose is to get your site visited and ranked on the search engines. That is another series of lessons altogether.

These days you don't need to go through what I went through. There are various 'help' sites out there but so many of them are not what they seem. They offer 'free' this and 'free' that but at the end of the day it's a waste of time.

You could acquire templates which are 'ready made sites' with pre-written articles but you and thousands of others will have the same thing. Google doesn't particularly like that and like it or lump it, Google is the master. If you want to be ranked highly and appear on page one to attract visitors, you need to obey the master.

Have a look at one or two amusing short videos and you will find an amazing site that will hold your hand from beginning to end in setting you up in an internet business of your chosen niche. You may need to Click on the big button.. Then, just sit back.

I can thoroughy recommend these people not just because of the great system they've come up with but their community, built out of existing users is amazing in that they help each other so much. If you feel stuck on any issue you just ask for help on the forum and you'll get it. Whatever problem you have, someone else had it and solved it. I have to say that the community spirit is not something you find everywhere. Here's the opportunity you've long been waiting for. Grab it and don't be a loser. If you don't, guess what? One year, maybe two years later, you'll be exactly where you are right now, only a little older.
